Statebound and Down!

It's the most wonderful time of the year ... er, or of the fall! The State Cross Country Championships are this weekend and we have one of our runners ready to gut it out for one last race. Evann Seratte is gunning to do the best she can over the rolling hills of Rim Rock Farm amongst the State's best.

We are excited for all of the kiddos who are coming out this week to run with Evann and encourage her through to Saturday. Which brings me to cheering on Saturday: it would be awesome if we could have as many diehard Chesty Lion fans out there to cheer on Evann as possible! Having the Lawrence High faithful strewn across the course will not only be energizing, but it will also give Evann that morale boost. We are a cross country family and now let's show it!

The weather says "cold" so, bundle up! There's nothing quite like the State Championships, so let us use this experience as a means of motivation for next year!
