Jennifer Minnis

Girls' Assistant Coach

Coach Minnis is a homegrown runner who excelled at the High School and College level. A runner for the Lawrence High School Cross Country team from '04 - '07, she was a member of three state qualifying teams. In track and field she was an All-State performer in the 400m, 800m, 4x400m, and the 2006 State Champion 4x800m relay.

After her high school days, Minnis found herself running at Wichita State University. After graduation, Minnis moved to Fort Collins, Colorado pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy. Upon moving back to Lawrence, she obtained a position with the USD497 school district for occupational therapy.

She has a newfound passion for coaching and worked proactively throughout the season to make sure her girls were in the right mindset and contention to make good things happen. Like Koster, she is already looking forward to the summer workouts and next year to come!
